Microsoft
Work in Microsoft 365
Microsoft’s Copilot documentation describes responses grounded in work data a user has permission to access; prompts and responses are not used to train foundation models.
Status: Product documentation available. Confirm the Copilot product, license and tenant rollout; names and entitlements can change.
Decision question: Review overshared files and access groups before a pilot. Ask which connectors, applications and audit controls your actual license includes.

Work in Google Workspace
Google describes enterprise protections for Workspace with Gemini, including restrictions on training outside the customer domain without permission.
Status: Workspace product offering. Coverage depends on the account, edition and service in use.
Decision question: Separate managed Workspace use from personal accounts. Check sharing permissions, retention and the controls that cover each proposed workflow.

OpenAI
Business assistants and API workflows
OpenAI states that business and API inputs and outputs are not used for model training by default. Retention controls vary by product and qualifying organization.
Status: Business products and API available. Specific models, features and retention options have separate eligibility and terms.
Decision question: Choose an interactive assistant or an API integration based on the work. Budget seats, usage, integration, evaluation and human review separately.

Anthropic
Claude for enterprise work
Claude Enterprise lists SSO, provisioning, audit and retention controls. Anthropic states that enterprise inputs and outputs are not used to train models by default.
Status: Enterprise offering available. Confirm the plan, included capabilities, usage billing and access controls.
Decision question: Define what Claude may read and do through connected systems. Compare total usage and review effort against the current process.
INDUSTRIAL AI & INTEGRATION
Start with the systems and workload.
A model, a simulation environment and a business-system assistant solve different problems.

NVIDIA
Inference, simulation and robotics
NIM packages model inference for deployment; Isaac Sim provides a robotics simulation framework. They address different parts of an industrial AI system.
Status: Developer products available. Licensing, hardware and support requirements are product-specific.
Decision question: Start with a workload and an evaluation plan. GPU capacity alone does not establish application readiness.

SAP
AI in business processes
SAP’s July 2026 release highlights describe multi-system Joule support. The Sapphire guide separately lists planned manufacturing and planning capabilities.
Status: Released capabilities and roadmap items coexist. Verify the exact application, edition, region and tenant entitlement.
Decision question: Map business objects, authorizations and approval rules. Ask which transactions an assistant can propose, execute or reverse in your system.

Siemens
Industrial engineering assistance
Siemens announced Eigen Engineering Agent general availability in April 2026, connected to TIA Portal for automation engineering tasks.
Status: Generally available product; supported TIA Portal licensing, account and capability requirements still apply. No independent performance test is claimed.
Decision question: Check your current engineering software and supported versions. Validate generated work in the engineering review process before deployment.
COMPARE BEFORE YOU COMMIT
Use the same questions for every supplier.
Record an answer, its evidence and the person responsible for checking it.
Work: Which task and user? Data: Which sources and permissions? Operation: Where does it run, and who supports it? Cost: Seats, usage, integration and review? Evidence: What can the pilot prove?
